Debbie brings a phenomenal skill set to Nest and to her clients. Not only is she a proven agent and leader, but she also brings a vibrant and positive energy to those around her. This culmination of talents has led her to be a sought after coach for other driven real estate professionals around the country.
Debbie grew up near Atlanta, Georgia, and attended college at the University of Georgia. She graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 1996. She worked in the sports medicine industry for 10 years in Georgia and Florida. In 2002, with her first child on the way, Debbie and her husband Chris began investing in real estate.
After careful consideration, Debbie began to pursue her real estate career in Orlando, Florida. With a strong work ethic, she built a highly successful team and closed $30 million plus in sales volume. She eventually made her way to the North Carolina coast. Since then, Debbie has made significant waves in our market, becoming a "team leader" for a local franchise office and growing the firm by more than 200 agents.
In 2014, Debbie was elected to the Wilmington Board of REALTORS®, which she served for multiple years. She accomplished all this while being a dedicated mother to three daughters. In 2017, after an extensive evaluation of her "what's next?", she chose to become more focused on agent development. She partnered in launching an independent coaching company in addition to her regular real estate practice. By aligning herself with Nest, she is now able to focus on building long-lasting relationships with both her real estate and coaching clients.
