Windemere is a unique neighborhood in that it offers large, mature homesites within walking and biking distance to Wrightsville Beach and Mayfaire Town Center. Windemere homes are mainly brick construction and were built from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s. The Cross City Trail has been a positive addition, making it even easier for residents to explore surrounding areas on bike or foot.
